The amazing views at Turtle Beach will soon be filled with barges and heavy dredging equipment, renourishing the beach with approximately 800,000 cubic yards of sand. This will help repair the erosion that has plagued the beach.
Christine Arnold, who was visiting the beach with her daughter on Tuesday, isn’t crazy about all the machinery that will be here, but feels the work is necessary.
“I think people are pretty disappointed about that and unhappy,” said Arnold, who is visiting from New Jersey, “but I think if you look at the long run that it has to be done and there’s no good time to do it”
