TSHD Severnaya Dvina Starts Dredging at Main Navigation Canal of Port Arkhangelsk

TSHD Severnaya Dvina started dredging at the main navigation canal of Arkhangelsk seaport on 23 April 2017, say press center of FSUE Rosmorport.

1.7 mln cbm of material is to be dredged there to maintain design depth in 2017. All the works will be performed by the company’s own dredging fleet.

The dredger built at Danang, Vietnam based Song Thu Corporation’s Song Thu Shipyard was laid down in November 2014 and launched in November 2015. Setting-up and adjustment of the vessel’s dredging equipment as well as water tests were completed by May 2016.

Vessel’s key specifications: Length overall – 80.35 m; Beam – 16.2 m; Dredging draft – 5.1 m; Trailing dredging depth – 22 m; Hopper capacity – 2,000 cub. m.
