Fenwick Island, Delaware – The Town of Fenwick Island seeks qualified bidders for the upcoming Little Assawoman Bay Dredging Project. The proposed work involves hydraulic dredging of approximately 18,500 cubic yards of sediment to create two new channels in Little Assawoman Bay. Dredged sediment will be pumped to an upland property for dewatering in geotextile dewatering bags.
Interested contractors may reach out to Pat Schuchman, Fenwick Island Town Manager, at pschuchman@fenwickisland-de.gov for access to the bid package. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on March 15, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. local time at 800 Coastal Highway, Fenwick Island, Delaware 19944 for presentation of the project and answering of questions, followed by an optional, but strongly recommended, site visit to answer additional questions.
