LOGAN – As advocates for the restoration of Lake Logan work to persuade state officials to take action to improve the health of the lake, they might learn something from a lake restoration project that was proposed over 15 years ago, but which apparently never came to fruition. Government documents obtained by a citizen through a public records request, and shared with The Logan Daily News, tell the story of the failed plan to dredge silt from the lake and deposit it into open water in the lake to create a marsh or wetland.
