The Port of Houston Authority (PHA) has released a solicitation for RFP-1922 HOUSTON SHIP CHANNEL (HSC) EXPANSION CHANNEL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT (ECIP): PROJECT 11: BOLIVAR ROADS TO REDFISH STA 138+369 to HSC STA 73+476 (PACKAGE 3/4A) on the BuySpeed eProcurement System (BuySpeed). Port Houston would like your company to have an opportunity to participate in this solicitation.
Scope Overview
- The Port Authority seeks proposals for dredging to widen the HSC in the location described in design package 3/4A (Segment 1A), with disposal of material offshore or beneficially reused to create a new bird island in the Galveston Bay.
- Responses are due no later than 11 a.m. (CST) on August 4, 2021.
- Proposal responses must be emailed to: procurementproposals@porthouston.com. Hand-delivered responses are not permitted.
- Anticipated award date-September 29, 2021
A Pre-Proposal Conference will be held via WebEx on July 12, 2021 at 10 A.M. for vendors to ask questions concerning the scope. WebEx instructions can be found under the project details under “Attachments.”
To access the solicitation package, please follow the below instructions:
- Go to https://buyspeed.poha.com
- Login with your User ID and Password
- Select the “Bids” tab from the Welcome page to view active solicitations
- Select “Open Bids” from the drop-down list
- Select “All” from the Show Bids for Category drop-down list
- Hit the “Go” button and all open bids will populate
- Locate the Bid Number/Project Title for which you are interested
- Click on the red “Bid #” hyperlink located to the far left of the screen
- Select “Yes” to Acknowledge Receipt and View Solicitation
- Locate the “File Attachments” section and download the solicitation documents
