VIGO COUNTY, Ind. — The lake at Fowler Park will be a little bit healthier this spring as it is currently being dredged.
The Vigo County Parks Department announced this week that it has started dredging some portions of the lake. This is the process of cleaning out the bed of the lake by scooping out things like mud and silt.
Vigo County Commissioner Mark Clinkenbeard said this project will help people enjoy the lake this spring, as it will make some areas more accessible by boat and better for activities like fishing.
