The future of Mass.’ young offshore wind industry uncertain in face of presidential election

The growing offshore wind industry is expected to create 56,000 jobs and invest $65 billion in the economy by 2030, according to a market report released by American Clean Power, an industry group representing renewable energy companies, in July.

Massachusetts, with its miles of coastline and innovative technology industry, stands to benefit from a good share of that investment.
