The BOKA Atlantic keeps transforming

Posted on March 30, 2026

Boskalis’ construction support vessel BOKA Atlantic has been operating in Asia for several years. The vessel has been involved in the development of multiple offshore wind farms, where it has also performed a variety of activities. For example, the BOKA Atlantic has filled jacket foundations with grout to fix them to the seabed, carried out repair work on foundations. And earlier last year, the vessel conducted seabed preparation work to enable the installation of jacket foundations for Ørsted’s Greater Changhua 2b and 4 offshore wind farms.

In recent months, the BOKA Atlantic transformed once again. Working for DEME Group at Ørsted’s Greater Changhua 2b and 4 offshore wind farms, it performed two new tasks. Using a mass flow excavation tool, the vessel was supporting trenching activities for previously laid inter-array cables, and the BOKA Atlantic was also conducting survey operations using a remotely operated vehicle. Recently, the vessel completed its scope of work in the Taiwan Strait, where it has once again proven itself to be a multifunctional offshore vessel.
