Today, Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem signed an agreement alongside Arif Suhartono – President Director of Pelindo, aimed at doubling capacity at Indonesia’s Belawan new container terminal and supporting its ambitions to develop the economy of Sumatra through infrastructure.
Our strategic partnership with the Indonesia Investment Authority (INA) and Indonesian government-owned port operator Pelindo will play a critical role in creating Indonesia’s most direct link with the Malacca Strait, one of the world’s busiest shipping routes.
It gives us great pride to be supporting Indonesia’s ambitions and contributing through this partnership to eliminate inefficiency and enable the flow of trade between Indonesia and the world.
