During the 2023 Dredging Summit & Expo, several awards will be presented to recognize individuals, organizations, and project teams for outstanding engineering and operational achievements while meeting the goals and objectives of WEDA. We are now accepting applications/nominations for the following awards. * The Safety Excellence Awards are due on March 24th. *
- Lifetime Achievement Award – presented on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, in the Premier Ballroom at the Gala Dinner. Due May 19th
- This award is WEDA’s most prestigious award and is given to the person that has significantly contributed over many years to the success of WEDA and the dredging community.

- Dredger of the Year – presented on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, in the Premier Ballroom at the Gala Dinner.
- This award is WEDA’s person of the year and reflects that person who contributed significantly to WEDA and the dredging community during the last year or years. Due May 19th

- Dredger on Deck Award – presented on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, in the Premier Ballroom following lunch. Due May 19th
- Young Professional Award – presented on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, in the Premier Ballroom following lunch. Due May 19th
- Environmental Excellent Awards will be presented on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, in the Premier Ballroom following lunch. Due May 5th
- Safety Excellence Awards will be presented on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, in the Premier Ballroom following lunch. Due March 24th.
