Stone Harbor will try to change up its troubled dredging project. Council was briefed by an engineer on a new plan to dredge material from the back bays of Stone Harbor. Instead of using geotubes, this time the contractor will mix the wet dredge material with a dry product for safe offload off the island. The project has drawn the wrath of some neighbors who oppose a municipal parking lot being used close to their homes.
