Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority says 99,000 cbm of soil is to be excavated at specialized seaport Oktyabrsk. The dredging works will be held in the operational water area of the Northern and Southern basins.
Last time such works were performed at the port in 2007.
Excavating works were started when testing a new hopper barge, Krymskaya 9, as a part of dredging convoy Rion.
The dredging convoy consists of a multi-bucket dredger Rion, diesel-powered hopper barge Krymskaya 9 and anchor handler ?? 318.
