Southwind Construction Corp.,* Evansville, Indiana, was awarded a $7,559,168 firm-fixed-price contract for maintenance dredging. Bids were solicited via the internet with three received. Work will be performed in Hubert, Holden Beach, Ocean Isle Beach, Carolina Beach, Newport, and Sneads Ferry, North Carolina, with an estimated completion date of June 30, 2025. Fiscal 2022, 2023 and 2024 civil operation and maintenance funds in the amount of $7,559,168 were obligated at the time of the award.
