A low interest revolving loan program administered by Cape May County is helping South Jersey Marina do much needed dredging. The program was set up for commercial fishing and later expanded to include charter fishing fleets.
South Jersey Marina owner Rick Weber has said a marina owner can invest a lot of money into dredging slips for boat owners using his facility, and the general public isn’t going to notice the difference.
“No one is handing out beautification awards for dredging,” Weber said.
