SIOUX CITY – On Monday, staff requested the Sioux City City Council to amend a service provider agreement for the marina dredging project.
The city council approved the amendment on a 5-0 vote.
Back in February, the council approved a just under $60,000 agreement with Barcon Inc. to dredge the marina. Completion of sediment removal originally was slated for March 28.
According to city documents, the amendment will increase but not exceed the amount by $8,500 for a total of $68,400. The amendment also expands the scope of services to include additional grading.
The deadline for the project was also granted an extension to April 4, and sediment removal for April 11 of this year.
