It’s been something that’s been discussed for years among residents of Lincoln City and members of the local government. And though he wasn’t the first to champion the idea of dredging the Siletz Bay and restoring the bay front to its former glory, Mayor Don Williams is hoping he — with the help of local residents — will be the last.
Williams said he approached several legislators during the recent Oregon Coastal Caucus, held Aug. 26 and 27, to inform them of his desire to see “some work done on the bay.”
