The Shongum Lake Property Owners Association (SLPOA) has been conditionally awarded a $5 million loan from the State Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) to perform the dredging of strategic areas within Shongum Lake.
“The township’s adoption of the special assessment ordinance allows the property owners association the ability to continue the process of the strategic dredging of Shongum Lake,” Township Manager Greg Poff said. “The project is not a township project but a property owners association project,” he added.
