The Santos Port Authority (APS), the Brazilian federal company responsible for managing the public infrastructure of the Port of Santos, reported recurring profit of BRL 938.9 million in 2025, a 22.3% increase compared with 2024.

The state-owned company also reached BRL 1 billion in EBITDA, reflecting strong cash generation during the year.

“The steady growth in recurring profit demonstrates the structural strength of the Port of Santos. These results reinforce our capacity to invest and ensure the port maintains its strategic role in Brazil’s economy,” said Anderson Pomini, president of APS.

The recurring profit indicator — which excludes extraordinary or non-recurring financial effects to show the underlying performance of operations — has risen 74.6% since 2023, according to the company.

“The performance confirms that the results of the Port of Santos are structural, consistent and sustainable over time, rather than the product of isolated events,” Pomini added.

Operational performance during the period also significantly boosted the company’s cash generation. Recurring EBITDA, which measures the company’s ability to generate resources from its core activities, reached BRL 1 billion, with a margin of 59.1%.

The recurring net margin stood at 54.5%, reflecting a level of financial efficiency comparable with leading private-sector benchmarks.

Total net profit for the year, which includes all accounting events recorded during the period, reached BRL 724.6 million, underscoring the company’s financial stability and sustainability.

With the 2025 financial results consolidated, the Port of Santos begins the 2026 cycle with resources available for strategic investments in infrastructure and logistics, including projects such as the Santos–Guarujá tunnel, improvements to perimeter road systems, the VTMIS vessel traffic monitoring system, and other initiatives.
