Our Singapore workshop recently delivered two Plumigator overflows to one of our valued customers. Based on their positive experience with the Plumigator, they have decided to use our innovative anti-turbidity solution in stead of green valves.
The fact that the Plumigator has no additional moving parts and hydraulic oil operated cylinders was one of the main reasons for this customerโs decision. It has proven to be a reliable solution.
The Plumigator reduces the amount of air released under the vessel through the overflow. This air contributes to a plume of air and fine soil particles entering the jet pump inlets and other auxiliary equipment. The performance and life of the equipment is adversely affected by the air. By minimising the amount of air, the Plumigator ensures a cleaner intake for the jet pumps under the vessel. It is as simple as that!
Another important benefit, the Plumigator overflow reduces the impact of the plume on marine life below and around the vessel.
