Last Friday marked a proud and memorable milestone as we celebrated the official naming ceremony of the two electric mining cutter suction dredgers (CSD), purpose-built for our valued client, Kenmare Resources Plc.

True to Kenmare’s longstanding tradition of naming vessels after female members of the management team or their families, we were honoured to welcome the two remarkable women whose names these dredgers will carry into the future. 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗳𝘁𝗼𝗻, wife of Gareth Clifton, Kenmare’s Mozambique Country Manager, and 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗲, daughter of Moma’s General Manager, Higino Jamisse, graciously officiated the ceremony 🚢🍾✨

We are very happy to be able to support Kenmare’s commitment to sustainable mining with cutting-edge, electric-powered technology.

We wish the SANDRA and the CALEN, their crews, and all those connected to them, a safe and prosperous future.
