Breaking new depths: developing the future of seabed security
To enhance seabed security, we’re creating a 4 track seabed crawler with the aim to go deeper — quite literally.
With unmatched stability, precision, and reach, this innovative solution is being engineered to inspect what others can’t, even in the most challenging environments.
Unaffected by waves and weather, it’s intended to deliver crystal-clear data directly from the seabed — enabling inspection, monitoring, maintenance, and mine countermeasure (MCM) operations without compromise.
This breakthrough is now becoming a reality.
Royal IHC, together with sensor partners ELWAVE, CSignum, i2S Orphie, and Teledyne Marine, is developing this advanced piece of subsea crawler technology.
We are preparing for an exclusive demo at SeaSEC 2025 in Scheveningen, where key stakeholders will get a first look at the crawler’s capabilities.
