Royal IHC and Floorganise have expanded their partnership for digital supply chain collaboration within the Dutch shipbuilding ecosystem. This collaboration aligns with the Dutch Maritime Masterplan.
Royal IHC, a supplier of maritime technology delivering integrated solutions to enhance customers’ operational efficiency and enable more sustainable outcomes and Floorganise, a Dutch technology company focused on process innovation supporting dozens of shipyards across Europe and North America have agreed a new long-term partnership.
The Floor2Plan platform delivers real-time visibility into workload, progress, and process control, creating a solid foundation for project and production management throughout the entire value chain.
Dutch shipbuilding operates within a broad ecosystem of design, engineering, suppliers, and production sites. By connecting planning, execution, and progress data into one chain-wide source of truth, actionable insights emerge that shorten lead times, reduce failure costs, and optimize capacity utilization.
The partnership fits within the ambitions of the Dutch Maritime Masterplan, including strengthening national shipbuilding capacity through digital collaboration platforms
Ronald de Vries, md Floorganise summarizes: ‘Shipbuilding has unique characteristics that must be acknowledged in process innovation. Our team has the knowledge, technology, and ambition to push boundaries together with Royal IHC. Fleet renewal and the Maritime Masterplan demand speed and predictability—that’s exactly where Floor2Plan and digital supply chain collaboration add value.’
He added, ‘there are supply chain partners in the Netherlands that do river cruise ship building. They too are potentially benefiting from this platform.’
