Reminder: CPRA to Host Advisory Committee Meetings on Caernarvon and Davis Pond Freshwater Diversions

The Louisiana Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority (CPRA) will host two advisory committee meetings in New Orleans for the Caernarvon and Davis Pond Freshwater Diversion projects on Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2024.

The purpose of the meetings is to advise CPRA’s Executive Director of the operational management plans for the diversion structures.

The meeting is required to assess the effects of prior diversion operations on conditions in the Breton Sound and Barataria Basins, consider recommendations of the Caernarvon and Davis Pond Technical Working Groups, and recommend an operations plan for each diversion for 2025.
