Work on an environmental study along the town’s southernmost shoreline is on hold while the town meets with county and federal officials and consultants to agree on scope and cost.
The county and town are working with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and its consultants to complete the study so sand can be placed on the beach and in the water, in addition to dune restoration.
