Push To Rebuild Dunes Continues

The push to rebuild dunes ?? whether at the hands at the Army Corps of Engineers project or through emergency temporary ones ?? continues with local advocacy groups, local council-members and federal elected officials weighing in.

As the third anniversary for Superstorm Sandy approaches this October, the federal beach widening and dune replenishment project is mired in easement battles. But the process also requires the public bidding process, which officials say would be at the end of 2015, the earliest.
