Pomme de Terre Shoreline Management Meeting July 18

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Pomme de Terre Lake will host a final draft Shoreline Management Plan meeting from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 18, at the Pomme de Terre Project Office. Participants may attend at their convenience.

The final draft Shoreline Management Plan for Pomme de Terre Lake establishes policy and furnished guidelines for the protection and preservation of the desirable environmental characteristics of the shoreline while maintaining a balance between public and private shoreline use.

Those interested in the future of shoreline activity use around Pomme de Terre Lake are invited to attend the public meeting and provide comments about the final draft Shoreline Management Plan.

Comments will be accepted through Aug. 1. They can be emailed to Pomme.De-Terre@usace.army.mil or mailed to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pomme de Terre Project Office, Rt. 2 Box 2160, Hermitage, MO 65668.
