The shallow water depth in Little Lagoon Pass has triggered a standing court order requiring the Alabama Department of Transportation to dredge the Pass to allow the exchange of water from Little Lagoon and the Gulf of Mexico. This vital work will help maintain the health of the lagoon. The parking lot and the beach will remain open to public access during the project. More info: 251.968.1166.
