Mayor Dale Massad’s bid to halt the collection of BP oil spill dollars for waterfront improvements in Port Richey has failed.
Massad, who won his seat in an October special election, made it a priority upon taking office to question the legality of parts of a plan that garnered an award of $667,000 in federal Restore Act funding.
