Carving the cable corridor for Baltica 2
Before Baltica 2 Offshore Wind Farm can deliver its first renewable power to Poland, we need to build the seabed cable routes where we’ll lay the cables. Bokalis’ vessel, ‘BOKA Falcon’, has completed its first task, clearing large boulders from the cable route, and is now ready to dig precise trenches where the export cables will be laid and safely buried.
It’s an important milestone on the way to delivering up to 1.5 GW of offshore wind power to around 2.5 million homes in Poland.
