Project Update from the Grand Bahama Shipyard | Orion has officially received a Taking Over Certificate for the new finger pier extension—two months ahead of our deadline! The customer’s vessel, Blue Giant, has already moored at the new pier, marking a major milestone for this project.
Progress continues across the scope with multiple structures now complete or nearing completion, including:
- Both mooring dolphins
- All three access gangway towers and foundations
- Forward access structures #2 and #3
- Shore protection and submerged support bents for the linkspan ramps
With the DD2XL phase nearly wrapped up well ahead of schedule, our focus shifts to DD4MEGA, which is already making strong headway.
