During the Ocean Isle Beach Board of Commissioners regular meeting on June 13, the board gave permission to award the contract for the multifunction community building and the proposed dredging of Jink’s Creek.
The contracts were not officially awarded at the meeting because the town wanted to negotiate the pricing. As of Friday, July 7, Town Administrator Daisy Ivey confirmed that the contracts have not been negotiated nor fully awarded.
