Promising a master plan to tackle dredging in the city’s severely silted lagoons and back bay, Mayor Jay Gillian told council that hiring the outside engineering firm ACT was the next best step.
Council unanimously approved a contract with ACT Engineering, Inc. of Robbinsville to develop a dredging strategy to include review, development, scope, and budget proposal at its Thursday, July 9 at City Hall.
