Norfolk Dredging Co., Chesapeake, Virginia, was awarded a $19,045,750 firm-fixed-price contract for maintenance dredging. Bids were solicited via the internet with four received. Work will be performed in Southport and Wilmington, North Carolina, with an estimated completion date of June 30, 2025. Fiscal 2024 civil operation and maintenance funds and operation and maintenance, Army funds in the amount of $19,045,750 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington, North Carolina, is the contracting activity.
