NOAA is seeking proposals for habitat restoration projects designed to restore coastal ecosystems.
The federal agency will make $6 million in grant funding available for marine habitat restoration projects in 2019.
Funded projects will help managed fish stocks and threatened and endangered species, along with benefiting recreational species.
Pre-proposals will be accepted through January 14.
The NOAA Community-based Restoration program has provided more than $160 million in funding to more than 2,000 habitat restoration projects since 1996.
