Damen Dredging in the Netherlands has completed assembly of a screening installation for an aggregates dredger of type MAD3500 currently under build at the Damen yard in Galati, Romania.
The new design has features aimed at reducing maintenance and enabling an undisturbed loading process. A substantially increased screening surface reduces loading time and rejected spoil now leaves the vessel’s bottom rather than side discharge for reduced plume.
