The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Wilmington District has prepared and is seeking public comments on the Draft Integrated Feasibility Report and Environmental Assessment (IFR/EA) for the Neuse River Basin Flood Risk Management study.
The Draft Report addresses the draft recommendations for potential federal actions to reduce risk and damages caused by flooding along the Neuse River and its tributaries. The Draft Recommended Plan proposes multiple nonstructural measures including structure elevation and flood proofing.
