Weighing 28 tonnes this heavy duty piece of kit is the latest addition to the world class equipment at Able Seaton Port on the Tees.
Able UK has invested £175,000 in the new heavy duty dredging grab, which will be used in conjunction with Europe’s largest mobile harbour crane.
The massive grab has been supplied by Verstegen, the world’s leading manufacturer of mechanical grabs, and with a capacity of 16 cubic metres, it will further increase the versatility of the Leibherr LHM 600 mobile harbour crane which has been operating at Able Seaton Port for the past two years.
