Manson’s work presence in the San Francisco Bay Area continues to grow with the USS PAMPANITO Relocation and Site Improvements project in San Francisco, CA.
Manson partnered with the San Francisco Maritime National Park Association to improve mooring conditions at the temporary location of the World War II-class submarine USS PAMPANITO (SS-383). The project involves installing new ground tackle, new mooring points, relocation of utilities, installation of a 200 ft. by 16 ft. windscreen—which protects the submarine from wind conditions—and additional site improvements for adequate mooring.
The project supports the Pacific Gas and Electric Company’s work in the San Francisco Bay.
Thanks to Project Sponsor Kelly Blythe, P.E. for the update!
