Manson Construction Co., Seattle, Washington, was awarded a $21,920,180 firm-fixed-price contract for maintenance dredging of the Kings Bay Entrance Channel. Bids were solicited via the internet with three received. Work will be performed in St. Marys, Georgia, with an estimated completion date of April 3, 2025. Fiscal 2024 operation and maintenance, defense-wide defense funds in the amount of $21,920,180 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville, Florida, is the contracting activity.
