The Berth 5 Expansion project in Port Arthur hit a big milestone last week! According to Project Engineer Ilias Sgourides, P.E., “We just drove the first of 270 precast pre-stressed concrete wharf piles. We have 92 piles at 30 in. square and 168 piles at 24 in. square ranging from 100 to 126 ft. long.” Thanks for the update, Ilias! #construction#precastconcrete#piledriving
