Little Egg Harbor Township, NJ – On October 25 the Interim Township Administrator/CMFO Rodney R Haines announced that the Little Egg Harbor Committee approved contracts for both the Mystic Island West Maintenance Dredging Phase 1 and the Atlantis Maintenance Dredging Projects. The contracts were approved at the October 14 2021 meting and were awarded by resolution to JPC Group, Inc.
After advertising for bids and rejecting the submissions on two previous occasions, the Township was able to negotiate with responsible bidders to obtain a contract on the proposed projects that would be in line with the project budget. The Mystic Island West Maintenance Dredging Project Phase 1 has been awarded to the JPC Group Inc for $8,075,000 and the Atlantis Maintenance Dredging Project also awarded at $1275000.
The Little Egg Harbor Township Engineer will be working with the contractor to finalize the project schedule.
