From the St. Johns River Water Management District
Navigational access near the mouth of the Apopka-Beauclair Canal may be limited as the St. Johns River Water Management District enters the final stages of a sump dredge project designed to help improve water quality in Lake Apopka. Additional dredging will also improve navigational access in the area.
