Kenosha’s lakefront is in line for some changes.
Starting Sunday, the Kenosha News is launching a three-day series looking at projects proposed for the lakefront, including dredging of the harbor and possible extension of the north pier.
Sunday’s piece will look at the continued need for dredging at the mouth of the harbor.
Monday will examine plans to update the historic beach houses in Southport Park and on Simmons Island.
Tuesday will explore pier extension — which some say is needed to prevent continued dredging of the harbor — and whether or not it is feasible.
