The Lake Altoona Protection and Rehabilitation District will hold a special meeting this week to vote on whether to undertake a mechanical dredging project this winter while Lake Altoona is lowered.
At the meeting, scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday at Seymour Town Hall, 6500 Tower Drive, district members will decide whether they want to start the project before the lake is refilled at the end of March.
