Laguna Lake neighbors concerned about conservation plans

Laguna Lake looks more like a meadow than a body of water. The park and natural reserve are also dried up because of the drought. Some residents say neglect by the city is partly to blame.

Neighbors say they are not worried about the water level. They know in time, with a lot of rain of course, this lake will be filled once again. However, they say they are worried about preserving the land and future lake for those who come to visit.

“I know what it was like, and what it can be like,” said Laguna Lake neighborhood resident, John Smigelski
