Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has mobilized the Harbor Development Project of Kurinbi island in Haa Dhaalu atoll.
The project was mobilized on 4 June, 2023.
Under the project, MTCC will be doing new harbor basin dredging operations of 30,172 cubic-meters, existing harbor basin dredging operations of 4,389 cubic-meters and existing harbor entrance channel dredging operations of 2,040 cubic-meters.
The company will also be doing construction of a 295 meter breakwater; a 70 meter revetment; a 314 meter quay wall, as well as a ramp, an access platform and paving works measuring 1,556.61 square-meter.
Furthermore, MTCC will be installing harbor lights as well.
The value of the project is MVR 40.56 million.
