KURE BEACH, N.C. (WECT) – Kure Beach officials announced in a meeting on Monday, Jan. 26, that efforts for its beach renourishment project will now focus on areas near the southern end of town.
The update follows Carolina Beach and Kure Beach’s pause in renourishment operations back in December.
According to information shared in the meeting, sand for the focused renourishment efforts in Kure Beach will be sourced from neighboring Carolina Beach.
