We have successfully installed all 72 monopile foundations on Denmark’s largest wind farm, Thor.
Thor will have an installed capacity of over one gigawatt, enough to power around one million Danish households with green electricity.
For the crew of our installation vessel Les Alizés, it was the first project where they could use the motion compensated pile gripper. This magnificent piece of equipment compensates the motions of a floating vessel, allowing our crew to install the foundations with the highest precision, even in challenging weather.
Meanwhile, we continue to work on export and inter-array cables to bring the green energy ashore.
