This summer we deposit one million cubic metres of sand at the mouth of the Western Scheldt to protect the hinterland against rising sea levels.

Our Ultra-Low Emission vessels Tristão da Cunha and Diogo Cão do the job. Both run on 100% biofuel and are equipped with Ultra Low-Emission technology that reduces nitrogen oxide emissions by up to 95%, and particulate matter by up to 98%.
