The emergency dredging and beach nourishment project at the Indian River Inlet is almost finished.
Work started back in November to add almost 500,000 cubic yards of sand to the dunes and beaches.
State officials made a visit to the area last Friday to check out the progress and learn more.
Work is expected to be completed later this month.
